A sign of possible trouble for local coupon players Gonabit and Cobone. Both livingsocial and Groupon are running localised Google Ads on Dubizzle.com (dubai.dubizzle.com). Groupon and livingsocial are yet to launch locally. My guess is that this is a good way to build up a pre-launch database.
